Young people drive digital innovation forward, but they are also among the most vulnerable users of digital technologies.
This is why the Avast Foundation is working directly with youth to shape an open, ethical, and free digital world for everyone. The Avast Foundation Youth Leadership Board are young people aged from 18-30 leading Avast Foundation’s youth strategy to amplify the voices of diverse young people in the wider digital safety dialogue.
In addition to advisory contributions, the youth members are researching how youth worldwide engage online, what digital services they need, and how to address their needs in the increasingly digital future. They are also working to build a community of global youth interested in creating an inclusive digital future.a
